Triptychs are a format of art that is created on 3 separate (but cohesive) panels. You may recognize it in the famous painting The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch! With origins in the Middle Ages and throughout the Renaissance, triptychs have a long history upon which modern artists have reinterpreted in various media and for diverse subjects.
