"A Sonic Response to the Exhibition” is a live experimental music performance by Eagle Friend Radio [Lenny Gonzalez solo] composed in response to the work on view in “the things we hold, the things we carry”, a solo exhibition by artist Catherine Lipsetz Dauer at Birdhouse Gallery.

The exhibit expands on Lipsetz Dauer’s ongoing exploration of time’s marks, pace, and passage through reflections on the sentimentality, attachments and misconceptions that result from collecting and keeping objects over long periods. The exhibition features a group of large-scale paintings inspired by looking deeply at the beauty and mystery of a singular, treasured object from the artist’s personal collection.
