Sliding Scale

Borrowed is a site-specific dance and immersive experience reflecting on the ties between environmental exploitation and the displacement of Black communities. A sequel to its Morongo Basin premiere, this version parallels climate crisis with the gentrification and erasure of Black San Franciscans. Two distinct versions feature overlapping choreography and themes. Through movement, sound, and dialogue, the work invites collective action. Tickets are sliding scale; ticket sales support equitable artist wages and documentation for future access. Dress for weather; chairs available.
