Garden in the Shape of a Girl, a solo exhibition of works by Meagan Boyd, opens alongside Myths of the Ancient Future, a group exhibition curated by the artist in the same space.
Boyd’s work explores mythology, femininity, mysticism, and the natural world through intuitive painting, botanical pigments, and dreamlike imagery.
For this occasion, she brings together some of her favorite artists from her creative community whose work explores mythology, folklore, surrealism, and imagined worlds. The resulting exhibition features 14 artists, creating a dialogue between their different artistic practices.
The opening evening will also feature an artist conversation from 5–6 PM, moderated by Jessica Hundley, editor of TASCHEN's Library of Esoterica series.
