POISE, a solo exhibition of large-format photographs by Iranian-born, Edinburgh-based artist Kayhan, opens this Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Please join us for Artist Talk + Opening Reception on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The talk will be from 1 - 2 pm and the reception will follow immediately after. Kayhan will be in conversation with Maggie Dethloff, Assistant Curator of Photography and New Media at Cantor Arts Center.

While this is not the first time Kayhan has shown in the United States, POISE marks his first solo show. Work on view features larger-than-life photographs which serve as a reminder of the regal beauty, exquisite details and vibrant color rendition that are hallmarks of large-format, analog photography.
