On the 24th anniversary of 9/11, Michele Pred presents a performance activating her installation Stack, composed of thousands of objects confiscated at San Francisco International Airport in 2002. Dressed in a reimagined TSA-style uniform, Pred engages with the items, exposing how systems of government control reach from the intimate to the institutional, echoing today’s struggles over bodily autonomy and human rights. In addition, Pred will debut a temporary outdoor projection.
