The first real show at Studio Gallery, in 2004, was a preview for Open Studios at the Shipyard. This exhibit revisits the past with artists who have shown regularly in the gallery.

Selections from the Shipyard includes work from 7 artists from the Hunters Point Shipyard Open Studios community: Rab Terry, Estelle Akamine, Pep Ventosa, Victoria Veedell, Nina Fabunmi, Rinat Goren and Mary Southall. Click here to see the show online.

There is a huge range of work in the show - painting, encaustic, fiber art, photography, Venetian plaster and mixed media - which is reflective of the breadth of talent at the Hunters Point Shipyard. The gallery is bursting with color and texture, and we hope you can come by to see the work in person or join in the reception on Sunday, Sept 28th, 3-5.

After the Selections show ends, the gallery will be closed till early November to get ready for the annual tiny show.
