Creativity Explored is pleased to present a group exhibition of studio artists who utilize existing cultural iconography to map out their daily lives and experiences. The title, "Downs the Hills and Around the Bends," is an excerpt from the theme song for the children's television series Thomas & Friends, a narrative that artist Grayson Kop uses to discuss his friendships, interactions, activities and routine. The exhibition features work by CE artists Andrew Bixler, Grayson Kop, James Leung, Gabbie Lopez, Yukari Sakura, Gerald Wiggins, and Marilyn Wong.
Downs the Hills and Around the Bends will be on view June 25–August 22 in the main CE Gallery at 3245 16th Street. Join us for the Opening Reception on Thursday, June 25 from 6:00–8:00 pm! Event parking is available at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 3281 16th Street.
